Field Aerospace has developed a variety of special mission aircraft based on the Bombardier Challenger series of aircraft.
Our history with this platform began in 2004 when Field was awarded a contract to provide the Royal Danish Air Force with 3 modified Multi-Mission Aircraft. These aircraft are used in Maritime Surveillance, VIP Transport and Medevac applications. Field has also modified several Challenger 604 aircraft for Search and Rescue roles with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority. In 2013 Field Aerospace was selected by Boeing as a Joint Venture partner to develop, certify and bring to market the modifications for their Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA). The MSA solution incorporates technology from the P-8A Poseidon program into a Challenger CL604/CL605/CL650 airframe. Noted certified operational modifications have or can be easily integrated to other large business jet types such as the Bombardier Aerospace Global series or Gulfstream Aerospace G series.
